How We Can Help

Meet the Team

Brian Langridge

Brian is qualified as a general counsellor and a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) for a range of problems and difficulties. He is experienced at working with clients at their own pace, either for just a small number of weeks or a slower pace over many weeks.

“Our problems and difficulties can sometimes feel too difficult to bear. This can be in our personal lives, or at work, college, or school, or because of relationship difficulties. At such times, I can help you to gain a better understanding, to achieve self-acceptance, and explore options for change.”

“Talking helps us all, both young and old,  to make sense of what is going on in our lives.  I can help you gain insight and, if you want to, help you explore your past experiences and the future”.

Susie Hoogland MBCAP Dip. couns.
Counsellor, Psychotherapist, CBT Therapist.

Susie is qualified humanistic integrative and CBT counsellor, who combines mindfulness into her practice. This approach gives your past, your present and your future room to unravel, be explored and to develop.

"Life is often painful. We can all too easily just put up with what's bothering us ignoring our inner feelings and thus never really understanding ourselves or our lives. My strength is my capacity to build relationships, enabling you to feel safe, supported, understood and never judged. Years of knowledge and experience are there to be drawn upon to help you achieve your desire for peace, self awareness and positive change. Helping you to care for yourself."

Susie believes that our behaviour and feelings today are often shaped by our early years or by life and events happening now. "By looking at these together it is possible to unravel long established patterns or hurts to find the real you. With support this inner, bruised you can be nurtured and gently reintroduced to the world. If It feels right sometimes this could be done together by walking in nature or being somewhere in a supported way that has meaning for you".

Kevin Holyer BSc (Hons)
Adv.Dip.Int.Couns, MBACP Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Coach

Kevin is an experienced and professionally qualified counsellor, psychotherapist and coach.

"I believe that no single counselling or therapy approach suits the needs of the broad spectrum of people or presenting problems and therefore work integratively using a number of counselling approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Humanistic Counselling and Transactional Analysis"

"Life can be stressful and sometimes overwhelming. I can work with you to achieve personal growth and change and help you reach your full potential. All of my work starts with a conversation about what you're finding difficult. From there we move on to exploring those difficulties in a way which is best for you. This allows you space to talk in complete confidence, and identify what you may choose to do differently."

Kasia Trybala MA
Counsellor, Psychotherapist, MBACP

Kasia is an experienced and professionally qualified counsellor. She bases her work on Gestalt therapy combined with Transactional Analysis’s, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Person Centre theory.

“Using a combination of these four approaches in theory makes me a humanistic integrative counsellor,  however it is not scientific theories and big words that are the key to my successful client work. What really makes my clients feel better is the experience of the safe and confidential space, in which my clients learn to build a healthy relationship, often for the first time in their lives.

My clients thrive on the unconditional acceptance and understanding that they receive in therapy and they get the support to get to know themselves, to become honest with themselves and make the choice as to who they want to become. “
